Kay Mills

Was born on the 8th of October 1923. She made her camogie debut with the Great Southern Railways Club aged 14 years and in her time became the most decorated player in the history of Gaelic Games. Captaining Dublin to 15 All Ireland senior medals, including her final medal won on the day of her retirement aged 38 years. She is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time.

A plaque to Mills was erected at her former home, 1 Abercorn Terrace, Inchicore.
