Kilmainham Inchicore Network, supported by Dublin City Council, is an active umbrella organisation supporting and promoting our local area. We share information about what is going on and facilitate our local community to work together to improve our area – a place where people can safely live work and play.

Kilmainham Inchicore Network (KIN) is proud and honoured to support our local schools and help them navigate issues with the wider community; linking them in with environmental groups, businesses, local residents associations.
We are a connector to Dublin City Council on issues such as the appearance of our local area, we link the schools in with local opportunities and brings our local community together to help us deepen our local shared knowledge, spark more learning and make us prouder of our living space.
We are delighted to shine a light on Our Lady of Lourdes National School, a primary school committed to the development of lifelong learners and responsible citizens who contribute positively to society. We are very grateful and thank Principal Tonya Hanly for all her help with this video and also thank all the staff and students at Our Lady of Lourdes National School for giving up their precious time in helping us create this video.
Shop Front Improvement Scheme

Dublin City Council established the Shop Front Improvement Scheme in Dublin’s South West Inner City in 2015 as a local regeneration initiative, the scheme is now entering it’s 10th year. The intent behind the scheme is to offer practical help to local businesses and retailers and encourage them to invest in their shops and premises. It is part of DCC’s wider effort to improve the attractiveness of Dublin’s urban villages in the commercial areas. For neighbourhoods like the Inchicore and Kilmainham the Shop Front Improvement Scheme has been quite transformative.

To celebrate our creative community, Kilmainham Inchicore Network are shining a light on some local artists.
In this first episode we capture the life and work of three artists living locally; understanding their creative journey, their inspiration, their passion and their challenges. By sharing these stories we get an appreciation of the lives of these talented artists that live in our community.
Denise McShannon, Laura Macken and Dragana Jurišić are the three artists featured in this video.
